Proper Work 2009 & Before

Loani snuck into large organisations and spring-cleaned and restructured electronic filing systems - a modern filing fairy. Before that she like to administrate for artistic and charitable organisations.  And in another life entirely Shue mucked about on the viola and taught little kids how to whip out a tune on their own instruments.

Family

Loani is the happy mother of one grown up son, Benjamin Bunny and daughter-in-law, Giada. She is ridiculously smitten with two recalcitrant Burmese cats, Purl and Bruce (The Naughties), and thanks her lucky stars for her real beaut bloke, Julian.

Oh and.. Loani sometimes talks about herself in the third person.  She can't help herself.

A Patched Life - NOW

Loani is now translating all that tea cosy colour and joy into fabric follies, material mosaics, quirky quilts, call it what you like. She is making her unique mark in the land of stitching and is ready to share it with you.
